Picnics and Scrolls and Britain

As primary moderator of the CWC blog, I have the pleasure of monitoring the links of members. I must say this:

We may have the most powerful group of writers, explorers, and literary artisans I have know as advisor of Club in 6 years.

And I give individual compliments freely, but rarely do I characterize a group with glowing terms. So, please feel shoulder-patted.

(note: I am considering naming our community readings, etc. as "Event(s)" for ease and brevity.)

Updates include:

Kudos to Emilie for planning our first Event: The Fall Picnic and Quidditch at French Park last weekend!

Also, a special thanks goes to Madison for giving me up-to-the-minute directions (French Park, I will never lose you again.) and to Smackeben for running around with wild abandon and with purpose, somehow simultaneously. More thanks to people who brought food. There was even cake.

Stay tuned for November's Event.

NEW informational meeting for the 2011 Communications Travel Abroad trip is this week!

Unofficial Event to witness the Dead Sea Scrolls at the Science Museum is this Saturday!
  • Saturday, 10/23/10, 9:30 AM
  • http://www.SMM.org for more info and for tickets
  • Tickets are for entry time...must be purchased at least 2 hours in advance.
  • I hope you can attend this once in a lifetime experience.

No Club meeting this week, so I expect to see more blogging.  CT
